This 1970’s cottage was acquired by our clients with the vision of creating a family home. Sugrue Design were engaged to realise this buildings potential by creating an extension and giving the house an overall modern look. The works included structural and technical enhancements to the existing cottage i.e. new heating system and wastewater treatment system, etc. Taking advantage of the surrounding views, a contemporary single storey extension was constructed bringing harmony between both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The extension features a large spacious kitchen-living area capturing plenty of daylight, along with a comfortable office, sitting room and functional utility units.
